Today, I did lesson 2 and typed 12 words per minute.

Do Now: How can reviewing in Rags to Riches/QUIA help you? 

In my opinion, Rags to Riches can help us by reviewing the week's lesson. This week's lesson is logging in a lot of websites. Rags to Riches  and QUIA are going to give hard questions about the week's lesson. The whole point of this game is to get to  one million dollars. This game also tests you in how much you have been paying attention. This is how Rags to Riches/QUIA can help us reviewing the week's lesson.

1-27-09 Tuesday WPM Techconnect

Yesterday I typed 10 words per minute in lesson 1. Today,I typed 18 words per minute in lesson 2

How can Techconnect help you learn how to type? The way Techconnect can help me is by doing a lot of stuff. One thing it could help me do is type faster. It has exercises that help your fingers get stronger to type. Another thing it helps you do is know where and how to type. In the beginning, it tells you where to place your fingers. That is how Techconnect could help you.

Do Now:How can learning how to type help in the future? The way typing can help us in the future is by helping us to do work fast. For example, if you are working in an office and your boss tells to do a five page document and to send it to someone and you do not know how to type then  it will take a long time to type and send. Another way typing can help us is by using it at school and collage. By this I mean that if you have technology class and you have to do an assignment in ten minutes, it will take about fifteen minutes if you don't know how to type. That is how typing can help us in our lives.
